Workspace-Powered Workflows

NEW

The Project Workspace unlocks entirely new workflow possibilities with its visual canvas interface. Here are advanced strategies that leverage workspace-specific features.

1

Campaign Reference Library Strategy

Best for: Instagram campaigns, brand consistency, multi-post series

The Challenge:

You're creating a 12-post Instagram campaign and need every post to share the same character and style references for brand consistency. Manually uploading references 12 times is tedious and error-prone.

Workspace Solution:

  1. 1. Create workspace layout called "Instagram Campaign"
  2. 2. Add 12 prompt nodes (one per post concept)
  3. 3. Upload brand style references to ONE prompt's library
  4. 4. Drag references from library to all 12 prompts - instant propagation!
  5. 5. Each prompt inherits references automatically
  6. 6. Connect all prompts to AI Generation cards for batch testing
  7. 7. Use MJ Image cards to generate final high-res versions

Pro Tip: Update the style reference on ANY prompt, then drag it to the others to update them all instantly. The visual layout makes it obvious which prompts share references.

2

Video Storyboard Development

Best for: Multi-scene videos, transition planning, cinematic projects

The Challenge:

Creating a 30-second video requires planning transitions between 5-6 scenes. You need to ensure the end of Scene 1 flows seamlessly into the start of Scene 2, and so on.

Workspace Solution:

  1. 1. Create 5-6 prompt nodes (one per scene)
  2. 2. Use AI Image Gen cards to create key frames for each scene
  3. 3. Assign Scene 1's generated image as End Frame
  4. 4. Assign SAME image as Scene 2's Start Frame
  5. 5. Visual connections show which frames are shared between scenes
  6. 6. Connect to MJ Video cards to test motion levels and timing
  7. 7. Generate final sequences using AI Video Gen cards

Pro Tip: Color-coded frame boxes (Green = Start, Red = End) make it instantly obvious how scenes connect. Rearrange prompt nodes spatially to match your storyboard order.

3

Character Consistency Testing

Best for: Character development, pose variations, expression studies

The Challenge:

You're developing a character and need to test 5-10 different poses/expressions while maintaining consistent appearance. Each test requires the same character reference but different pose descriptions.

Workspace Solution:

  1. 1. Create base prompt with character description
  2. 2. Generate initial character image using AI Gen card
  3. 3. Save to library and assign as Character Reference (purple box)
  4. 4. Right-click prompt → Clone (creates duplicate with all refs intact)
  5. 5. Repeat to create 5-10 clones, each inheriting the character ref
  6. 6. Modify each clone's base prompt for different poses ("walking", "jumping", "sitting", etc.)
  7. 7. Generate all variations simultaneously using AI Gen cards
  8. 8. Compare results side-by-side on canvas to check consistency

Pro Tip: Arrange cloned prompts in a grid pattern on the canvas for easy comparison. All clones show the same purple Character Ref box, making it obvious they share the same reference.

4

Style Reference Evolution & A/B Testing

Best for: Style exploration, A/B testing, visual refinement

The Challenge:

You're developing a visual style for a project and want to see how 4 different style references affect the same base concept. Traditional workflow requires creating 4 separate prompts manually.

Workspace Solution:

  1. 1. Create 1 prompt node with your base concept (e.g., "futuristic cityscape")
  2. 2. Generate 4 style test images (different color palettes, textures, etc.)
  3. 3. Clone base prompt 4 times
  4. 4. Assign different style test image to each clone (blue Style Ref box)
  5. 5. Connect all 4 to MJ Image cards
  6. 6. Copy all 4 prompts and paste in Discord for batch generation
  7. 7. Compare results to see which style direction works best
  8. 8. Iterate by creating new variations based on winner

Pro Tip: Use the visual layout to your advantage - arrange the 4 test prompts in a 2x2 grid on the canvas for easy comparison. The blue Style Ref boxes show at a glance which style each prompt is using.

Why These Workflows Work Better in the Workspace

Visual Reference Management

See at a glance which prompts share references. Color-coded boxes make reference types obvious. Drag-and-drop propagation saves massive time.

Spatial Organization

Arrange prompts to match your mental model (campaigns, storyboards, character sheets). Visual proximity = conceptual proximity.

Parallel Testing

Clone prompts to create variations, then compare results side-by-side on the canvas. No more flipping between tabs.

Dual Workflow Support

Test with AI Gen cards (fast, in-app), finalize with MJ cards (high-res, Discord). All on the same canvas without context switching.
